Currently in June
I know I'm a bit late to this link up but I'm fashionable late because my summer just started and I did not have time before. So here is my current happenings in June.
Listening: I just bought the Arctic Monkey's new CD. Do you still call them CD's when you download them? I'm probably aging myself here..? Hmm anyways I've been listening to all their songs and I love them! I think they have a great sound to their music and a great lead singer. It's funny how I have time to catch up on things I enjoy when I'm not so wrapped up in the school year.
Loving: SUMMER BREAK! I just had my last week of school and I'm so pumped for summer. I am worry free, my house is clean, errands are done, and I've been to the pool. Life is great!
Thinking: I want to turn on Netflix and watch Orange is the New Black. The second season just came out yesterday and I've been wanted to watch it all day. I'm just waiting patiently for my hubby to get home so we can start binge watching.
Wanting: I have been wanting to decorate our master bedroom for some time. We have a discount and gift cards from Pottery Barn so I think now would be the perfect time to revamp our room. I want to do blues but haven't decided if I want cool blues or deep navy blues. I will wait and see what catches my eye. I also have been eyeing new summer dresses and keep finding reasons why I need them. I have a wedding I'm going to next weekend so naturally I need a new dress for the rehearsal dinner...right?!
Needing: I need to pick up my bridesmaid dress for the wedding I'm in next weekend. I just got it taken up and need to go pick it up from the tailor. I was supposed to do that today but all day at the pool seemed like a better option. Also I can pick it up on Monday because I don't have school!
Summer Bucket List: Travel travel travel! I want to travel as much as possible this summer and each month I will be going somewhere. This month I'm going to Savannah, Amelia Island, and Jupiter. In July I'm going to Washington D.C. and in August I'm going to the Poconos Mountains in Pennsylvania. We will be visiting family and friends on these trips as well as celebrating our one year anniversary. I also want to take day trips in between all that to the beach and other interesting places around the area.
Link up-it's not too late! Join in the fun!

Love your blog design and the thoughts on your Currently. I still call them CD's to my students and get blank stares. Your summer sounds a lot like mine. Let me know next month how yours is going. I have a month to go.
ReplyDeleteThank my blog design is by Erin Bradley. I'm glad I'm not the only one who calls them CD's lol! Good luck on finishing up your school year!
DeleteHello!
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous of your pottery barn gift cards! Our master bedroom needs a makeover as well! I'm really wanting to do more whites, our walls are a greyish blue and I LOVE it!
I'm probably not helping, but I don't think you can ever have too many summer dresses! They are so easy to just throw on and go!
Happy Summer!

I totally agree you can never have too many summer dresses! They are so easy, light, and comfortable for the summer especially in Florida where it is so hot!

ReplyDeleteI haven't watched Orange is the New Black yet! We are in need of a new series now that all of the shows are over for the summer! :) I'm jealous of all of your travelling! I used to live in Michigan, and I would go to Florida EVERY SPRING BREAK! Cayo Costa! :) Enjoy all of your travels, and I love your layout!
ReplyDeleteLori :) Mixing it up in Middle!
P.S. Sorry, I didn't post it right the first time. :)
If you have Netflix you should watch the first season and see if you like it. It's fun now because you can watch both seasons and you don't have to wait! :) Hope you have a fun summer!
DeleteOkay You don't have to worry. I still call them CD's but have no idea who the Arctic Monkeys are! I guess I am definitely getting older. Love your blog and I love teaching reading. So am your newest follower.
