1 Fish 2 Fish, Dr. Seuss Party

Go fishing for sight words in literacy centers. I've had this game forever these are just way cuter fish. I used die cut fish and wrote out sight words my kids needed to work on. Then I glued flat metal bolts to the fish and used a ruler as a rod and put a magnet on the end. My kids could play this game everyday they love it so much!

  1. LOVE the ideas!! thanks for sharing!!

  2. Justin Bieber did an ok job last year but this year, they have Teebow reading it. I think it's the same website or just google it. He's a slightly better reader than Justin was :-)

    1. Thanks! I'll have to check Tim Tebow out! I know JB wasn't that great but my firstes adore him so I thought I'd give him a try!

  3. Thanks for sharing all the wonderful Dr. Seuss stuff. Totally loving the strawberries and banana cat in the hat. I nominated you for the Lovely Blog award.

  5. Cute Dr. Seuss ideas! For some reason, my school didn't do ANYTHING for that day! My class made a poster to hang in the hallway, which 'reminded' the principal to even say Happy Birthday to him over the intercom! So sad! You have a great blog! I'm new to teacher blogging. I'd love for you to come on over to mine and see what you think!

  6. Hi,

I work with the JELL-O Canada Facebook page and I wanted to see if I could use your Cat in the Hat Parfait image on our Facebook page? Thanks!
